Inspiration

Dad. Simply put - we each have memories, current and past, of the man we call our dad, father, papa, grumpy, happy, or sleepy! I know that this year will be different because it's the first year we celebrate Father's Day without my dad. Bruce's father passed in 2007 but it feels like only yesterday. The memories are as vivid as the day they happened. We hope you enjoy hearing more about Matthew Magidson, whom I also fondly called "dad".

Sewing summer tank tops and dresses is quick and the results are so enjoyable. My pattern drawer has several summer dress patterns - but I constantly return to the Willow because it is both a tank top and a dress. The clean lines make it perfect for my style. The tank top becomes a dress by simply adding a straight tubular skirt to the bottom of the tank top. The fun design in this pattern is the style element of the overlapping tank top hem that makes this dress look like you are wearing a separate skirt. Fun - Enjoy!

What can you do with a Rayon Remnant Pack?

Well - there are so many uses for this fun pack that includes approximately 3 yards of Batik Rayon, full width 45" wide strips, that measure approximately 5" to 12" each. Patchwork or strip piecing are so much fun and allow you to design and craft your own personal garment. Piecing and patchwork are not just for quilting. Let's explore!!
